The European Interparliamentary Space Conference (EISC) and the European Space Agency are proud to launch the "Space for Sustainability" Award addressed to European students and young professionals under the age of 30.
EISC is a forum where members of parliaments of European States meet  in order to coordinate their activities related to space. In 2012 the decision was taken to establish, together with ESA, an award, which would cover all aspects, where space contributes to sustainable development (SD) for our society. The "Space for Sustainability" Award aims at raising awareness and enriching the debate around the links between space and SD challenges of the century, with a multi-disciplinary scope and in coherence with the global approach for SD. Project ideas will be assessed by a high-level jury and the most innovative project will be rewarded, during the fall plenary session of EISC, with a visit of the CSG at Kourou at the occasion of a launch.

Submissions shall be delivered before mid-May 2013 to .
We hope this award will inspire many young people!
