Vladimir Ivkovic, MSS06 will this year again run the Boston Marathon and raise funds for the Massachusetts General Hospital.

“As this epic winter loosens its grip on Boston, the training runs for the 119th Boston Marathon are getting longer – next Saturday I will be running the pre-marathon 20 miler. Only 4 weeks to go until the big day on April 20th!

I am training with the Massachusetts General Hospital’s Emergency Response Team in memory of my friends – firefighter Roy Matiya and Dr. Michael J. Davidson – and in honor of my first responder family at Nassau Bay Fire Department.

I would like to thank all of you who have so generously donated to our cause and brought us to $1683 or 21% of the fundraising goal. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to our team at https://www.crowdrise.com/emergencyresponseteam/fundraiser/vladimirivkovic1

A special thanks this week goes to Webster University Alumni organization for featuring our fundraiser at their Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/websterviennaalumni) and LinkedIn (at.linkedin.com/in/websterviennaalumni) pages.

If you need additional incentives for donating, here they are:

  1. All donations are tax deductible
  2. If we raise $5000, an anonymous donor will give a matching donation to the MGH-ERT
  3. The person(s) who make the largest cumulative donation to my fundraiser will receive Run 4 MGH t-shirt(s)

Thank you!”
